As a group of five primary schools located in the Manningham/Heaton area of Bradford, West Yorkshire, we often face challenges. What we feel makes us stand out however, is our commitment and dedication to not only improving the life chances of the pupils we serve but also ensuring our community has access to the best opportunities for their children.
The Priestley Academy Trust is a community-focused Trust that goes above and beyond to ensure we provide the very best educational experiences we can, not just in the classroom but via exciting outdoor learning such as Tall Ship sailing, caving and forest schools, to name but a few.
All our schools work in close collaboration, sharing the Trust’s ethos and vision whilst maintaining their individuality.
Our current CEO helped set up the Trust and has been pivotal in its development but now feels the time is right to hand over the baton and will be retiring at the end of August 2021. This is an exciting time in our journey and we are seeking a special individual who can join and lead us in making a difference.
As CEO you will work with an experienced executive leadership team all with the skills and knowledge needed to continue to drive forward and work towards and beyond our Strategic Plan.
As a highly motivated leader with extensive experience of both school improvement and the business functions needed, you will bring a fresh approach and outlook in order to help shape the future of our existing schools and those that join us, ensuring our ethos and values are at the forefront of all we do.
A professional and skilled communicator, you will have experience of reporting to Board members, liaising effectively with key stakeholders and have the ability to develop the necessary relationships.

The closing date for application is 12 noon on Monday 15 February 2021.
There will be a Meet and Greet with CEO, Headteachers and members of Central Team on Friday 26 February 2021 at 13:00 for shortlisted candidates with an opportunity for a 1:1 discussion with members of the Board on Thursday 4 or Friday 5 March 2021.
Interviews will take place on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March 2021.
Meetings and interviews will be undertaken either remotely or ensuring social distancing measures are observed.
